By the Order of the Ministry of Interior dated 28 February 2017, starting from 1 March 2017 until 31 August 2017, Thailand will implement a temporary tourist visa fee exemption scheme and temporary Visa on Arrival (VoA) fee reduction scheme, which will apply for nationals of Andorra, Bulgaria, Bhutan, China including Taiwan, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, who hold passports/travel documents of the countries/territory of their nationalities. The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to inform the public regarding visa on Arrival (VOA) as follows.
The Ministry of Interior has issued the Ministerial Announcement designating 6 more Visa on Arrival (VOA) checkpoints (in addition to the previous 42 checkpoints which will be effective as of 06 October 2016 Onwards.
In this connection, a complete list of all 48 VOA checkpoints are as follows:-

Starting from 27 September 2016, Thailand, by the order of Ministry of Interior No. 30 B.E. 2559 (2016) dated 1 July B.E. 2559 (2016), will increase its VoA fee from 1,000 to 2,000 THB.

Starting from 27 September 2016, Thailand, by the order of Ministry of Interior No. 30 B.E. 2559 (2016) dated 1 July B.E. 2559 (2016), will increase its VoA fee from 1,000 to 2,000 THB. In order to facilitate visa application process, effective from 4 February 2013, those who submit their applications for tourist and transit visas at VFS Thailand Visa Application Centre at Connaught Place, New Delhi will have the following options as mode of payment for visa fee and VFS service charges:
A dedicated cash counter will be set up for both cash and demand draft payments.
Non-Immigrant applications must provide an external demand draft for visa fee.
In addition to visa fee and VFS service charge, there will be a bank charge of Rs. 30/- per applications for both modes of payments.

Attached documents | Not applicable in case of group of travelers guaranteed by private travel agent or sponsored by public/private corporate. However, the agent/corporate must issue a guarantee/sponsor letter which is signed by authorized person and attached with the list of group members citing details (name and passport details of each individual, confirmed return flight information and hotel reservation of the group. | Photocopies of 1). Confirmed return air ticket/vessel itinerary, 2). Financial statement/credit card issued by a bank or financial institution (not applicable in case of frequent travelers to Thailand) and 3). The above guidelines must be strictly followed and will be effective for all application submitted from the second session of 17 June 2011 onwards. Thailand Visa application Center will not accept applications which do not meet the above specified guidelines. Ins case of any traveler guaranteed by private travel agents or sponsored by public/private corporate is involved in illegal activities again the Thai immigration law, the guaranteed entity will be blacklisted by the Embassy and rejected to submit application for Thai visa.
